Room controls, end to end

Every control in the DiscipleRealm Room and what it does.

What you will accomplish

You can run the room without hunting for a button mid meeting.

Camera and microphone: the two controls on the left turn your own video and audio on or off.

Settings: choose a different camera, microphone or speaker while the meeting runs.

Speaker and Gallery: switch between one large person and a grid of everyone.

Auto-focus: on, the large stage follows whoever is talking. Off, the stage stays where you put it.

Pin: pin a person to keep them on your large stage. Unpin releases them. This is your own view only, nobody else's.

Share screen: share a window, a tab or your whole screen. Shared content becomes the main stage and the speaker moves to a small tile.

Chat: opens beside the video on a computer and as a drawer on a phone. Chat lives only for the length of the meeting.

Give: appears when your church has saved a giving link, and opens that page in a new tab.

Leave meeting: you leave, the meeting carries on. Hosts also see End for everyone, which closes the room for everybody and asks you to confirm first.

Auto-focus and pinning are personal viewing choices and are not forced on anyone else.
While a screen is being shared, the shared screen stays the main stage.
